Kungs - Club Azur (LP)

Valentin Brunel, alias Kungs, was een beetje een belofte. In 2016 scoorde de Franse dj en producer in Frankrijk, België en Duitsland een nummer 1-hit met This Kiss. Hij kwam op twee in de Engelse singles charts en bij ons kwam het lichtvoetige dancenummer in de toptien terecht. Er volgde een debuutalbum, Layers met warme, simpele maar charmante liedjes-edm waarop elk nummer werd ingekleurd door gastvocalisten. Brunel mocht openen voor sterprodcuer David Guetta op diens Europese Listen-tour, er volgden optredens op dancefestivals wereldwijd, en toen was er corona.  (volkskrant)
