Back in 2017, Trunk dropped one of their most exciting and acclaimed records to date, Tapes 1, the first ever release to draw on the extensive archive of sound recordings made by cult Dutch film director Frans Zwartjes. The first volume sold out fast, but thankfully now, they’re back with Tapes 2, another volume of the artist’s incredibly singular works. Dream-like, disjointed, disturbing, peculiar, and totally wild, this is a true missing link in the history of the avant-garde.
