Berliner Philharmoniker / Leonard Bernstein - Mahler: Symphony No. 9 (2 LPs)

One of the greatest Mahler conductors and one of the best Mahler orchestras got together for two concerts in October 1979. And these two performances of Mahler's 9th Symphony were to prove to be unique in several respects, as this was the only collaboration between star conductor Leonard Bernstein and the singular Berliner Philharmoniker.

This interpretation became legendary, and when it was first released on CD thirteen years later, it received numerous awards, including two Grammys. Now this musical finest hour is being released for the first time on vinyl (2 LPs), in 180 gram pressings, based on masters of the original sources and using the original artwork.
